ABOUT ME.... About me!? You aren't interested about me, are you? You're more interested in No.1...that's you! Having said that you clicked through so you must be interested in who I am and what I do. Well, for a start I love football(soccer to our American friends!) I played footy for my school team - when they were short of players! I practiced in my back yard at home every spare minute, I breathed, ate, drank and slept football. I played Sunday morning football in the Chesterfield League for the pub team Three Horse Shoes. At that time there were 12 divisions and I played in 12, 11, 10, 9 as we got promoted each year. They carried on going up and up right to division one, but I wasn't good enough or thought I wasn't!? I could have gone with them - but I lacked self belief, motivation and the conviction to work harder at improving my game. One wise-cracking team mate described me..'he's unfit, can't pass, shoot, head, chest or control the ball - but WHAT A THROW!' So most of the time I ran around taking throw-ins from all over the park, I played to my strengths! Hopefully this web site will help you rise through the leagues until you reach your ultimate goal whether it's school football, weekend footy or making £100,000 a week in the Premiership! |
